“About 4 months ago i had my heat pump replaced with a Trane heat pump in my mobile home. To date i am very unhappy with the replacement as the outdoor unit compressor is louder than words can describe. IFor the money i had to pay there is no reason for the outdoor compressor to sound like an overbearing grinder. you can at times hear very loudly it from inside the house or from the roadway 100 feet away. Also the indoor air handler makes a hissing sound whenever the heat pump shuts off for a very long period of time. Was also told this was normal but you can hear it hissing from the adjacent bedroom. These problems are anything but normal and i would not recommend Trane and i tend not to trust the opinions of the technician. Very unhappy”
